What time is check in?
4:00 to 6:00 pm. Please call in advance if you will be arriving later than 6:00.
May we check in early or just drop bags off?
We are busy preparing the house and your room for your arrival. If time allows, we leave the inn to get groceries and handle personal business. We will be delighted to welcome you at check-in between 4:00 and 6:00 pm unless prior arrangements have been made.
May we leave at noon vs 11:00 am?
Typically we need every available hour to prepare for our new guests arriving. During quieter seasons, it is more likely that we can accommodate this request.
May we prepare meals in your kitchen?
The kitchen is for innkeepers’ use only, due to insurance reasons. Our Innkeepers Cottage is available as a weekly rental and includes a full kitchen if you enjoy preparing your own meals.
May we have local friends and family join us?
We love to share our West Michigan bed and breakfast, but please check with us first. Our Hexagon House guests are here to enjoy our historic home and our common areas need to be available for their use.
Can you accommodate a gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian diet for breakfast?
Yes, but please tell us in advance... preferably when making your reservation.
Are there refrigerators available for our use, may we bring coolers?
There is a small refrigerator available for all guests in the family room. There is a mini-fridge in the Cottage Rose Suite. Small coolers may be kept on the porch outside your room.
May we bring our young children?
We welcome children over 12 as the premises are not child safe. The Innkeepers cottage is a comfortable option for our guests with young children.
Can we rent the innkeepers cottage for just the weekend?
Sorry, but local zoning does not allow nightly rentals of the Innkeepers cottage. You are not required to stay for your entire multi-night reservation.
